SEALS Beat Biden, Michael Riley’s Post

Well, it was hot in Phoenix today, and our AC was not working, so that’s why it was a “warm” Dividing Line! First program back after my trip to Alaska, so, I meandered a bit. Announced we will be doing a Radio Free Geneva on Thursday, and took calls on various topics, including teaching kids about the sinfulness of man

They Are Changing the NT! Plus a Lot on CN

James White, October 17, 2023October 17, 2023, CBGM, Christian Worldview, Post-Evangelicalism, Technology, Textual Issues, The Dividing Line, TROnlyism Tale of two programs today, sort of. First 35 minutes or so were on Jeffery Riddle claiming they will be changing the NT in 200 places in the upcoming (24/25) NA29th edition, and what that is all about. Discussed ECM/CBGM, etc. For those interested in textual issues, you will enjoy that portion. Then we switched over to the “Christian Nationalism” topic prompted by a series of tweets from Doug Wilson and Owen Strachan. Gave my position very fully and then interacted with both brothers, as that always helps to clarify things. Realized after the program was over I was going to look at the article posted at G3 today that I found very interesting, but ran out of time. Tomorrow I will be joined by one of the Navy SEALS who fought against the Regime’s dangerous vaccine mandates, so join us at 3pm EDT for that!

More on Relevant Islamic Beliefs, Response to Challenges from Islamic Debater

James White, October 11, 2023October 11, 2023, Debate, Godly Disciplines, Islam, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, Textual Issues, The Dividing Line Given the continuing conflict in the Middle East, we looked at the comments from the head of Hamas, looked at the concept of “the world at war” and “the world at peace,” and then worked through a short clip of a Muslim debater arguing against the clarity of the Christian Scriptures. Then finished with a response to the explosion of amazing tweets and claims on Twitter since yesterday, including those saying I’ve been “bought off” by the “globalists” (yes, seriously, someone suggested that).

Islam and the Jews: a Review, then, 40th Celebration Recap

In light of recent events in Israel we took the first 55 minutes or so of the program to review issues in Islam, looking at the Qur’an and hadith to understand the animus Islam produces toward the Jews. It’s been quite a while since we did any in-depth discussion of Islam, so I provided a lot of basic explanations of terms, etc. Then we moved to the events of Saturday and our 40th anniversary celebration. I played a video, and then looked at some of the pictures from our slideshow, taking a walk down memory lane. Old folks like doing things like that.

Pope Francis, Andy Stanley, and Stephen Wolfe Walk into a Bar….

Well, I’m not sure how to blog all of this. Since we live streamed the presentation summarizing the case against Ergun Caner Tuesday evening from Lindale, Rich decided, “Hey, we can do that.” So, we are now live streaming the Dividing Line. I have no idea why anyone would want to watch me sitting there talking, but, evidently, people do.

Final Road Trip DL for Now! Mainly a Review of a “Former Calvinist” and His Handling of Scripture

Finished up our response to Trent Horn on the topic of theopneustos, which we began two programs ago. But, I have started reading Rosaria Butterfield’s new book, Five Lies of Our Anti-Christian Age, which is due to be released on September 12th, and I shared a few quotes and thoughts that are directly relevant to the debate in Manheim, PA,

Road Trippin to G3: Preview of G3 and Debate Report

Started off looking at a few odd comments made in the textual arena since last week, then moved on to two clips from Jimmy Akin, one on prayer to the dead, the other on predestination and election, and another “I think the Greek says” error from Mr. Akin. Then we looked at a quote from Greg Koukl’s new book, Tactics.

Road Trip: The Armor of God – The Gospel of Peace, Independence Reformed Bible Church, Spooky Nook Sports, Manheim, Pennsylvania, 9/17/2023

Without any unscheduled sudden disassembly, either! Our first Road Trip Dividing Line in our new Mobile Command Studio was a success! Sure, we have some tweaking to do (Rich discovered the microphone presets did not save, for example), but we are just ecstatic that sitting here in our 35 foot Jayco Fifth Wheel RV in Kerrville, Texas, we were able

Upcoming Debate Thoughts, Jesse Duplantis, Thabiti Anyabwile

Well, OK, it was just a few days ago. But I forgot to blog the program. When that happens, remember, the file name is always consistent! For example, this DL’s URL is http://store.aomin.org/catalogsearch/result/?q=20091231. Next Tuesday’s DL will be http://store.aomin.org/catalogsearch/result/?q=20100105, and so forth. In any case, I started off discussing a bit about Islam and the Christmas day disaster in Detroit

Road Trip Dividing Line: California’s Secular Tyranny, Our Response, Some Taylor Marshall Tweets

A few thoughts on Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and The Da Vinci Code. No, I could not sit still while watching it. Who, with the slightest knowledge of the facts of the situation, could? But I still had to suffer through the ABC (yes, the same folks who brought you the Peter Jenning’s Jesus Seminar commercial a few years ago) special
