Started off listening to a clip from Dr. Frank Turek with Leighton Flowers wherein Turek opines that many Reformed folks just have not thought through the ramifications of their position. He also held up Chosen But Free by Norman Geisler, so we discussed that as well. Then we moved over to comments made by Dr. David Allen in the fairly new publication titled Calvinism: A Biblical and Theological Critique, specifically on a subject we have gone in depth on before, Romans 8:28ff. Went to “the big board” and let the text speak for itself, the one thing Provisionists never seem to do. Ninety minutes today!

Ratzinger’s Posthumous Truth Bombs, FBC Orlando, Andy Stanley
Had to start of with a few minutes on the posthumously published book from Joseph Ratzinger. Fascinating and important stuff from the former Pope. Then we listened to some stuff from FBC Orlando, then on to Andy Stanley and homosexuals “serving” and “worshipping” in the Church. This is when we’ve been called to serve, so, we have to deal with the topics of the day.

Road Trip Radio Free Geneva!
Rich Pierce, February 15, 2022February 15, 2022, Church History, Debate, Molinism, Personal, Provisionism, Radio Free Geneva, Road Trip, The Dividing Line Our first road trip version of Radio Free Geneva! I guess we could have done it on the program yesterday, too, but I did not think of it till I was driving today. So I had forgotten to deal with an important part of Tim Stratton’s presentation yesterday, so I wanted to get to that, and there were some developments today we mentioned as well. Once we finished that material, I moved to looking at some comments from David Pallmann and Will Hess in their ostensible “review” of The Potter’s Freedom, focusing upon some more errors regarding the over-all context as well as Hess’ denial of Penal Substitutionary Atonement (I could not tell whether Pallmann likewise denies PSA). Went just over an hour today, enjoy!
