Sola Scriptura: Do You Really Believe?

Talked a bit about a few current events at the start (played video from Mars, for example), but the focus today was on sola scriptura, what it means, why it is central, and why I am simply stunned to see men I used to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with using the phrase as a throw-away joke line on Twitter. James White, September 21, 2021September 21, 2021, Abortion, Open Theism, Post-Evangelicalism, Provisionism, Radio Free Geneva, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters Stumbled on a Soteriology 101 video asking if I am “right” about Matthew 23:37, so we dealt pretty fully with that new presentation for the first ninety minutes, then touched upon some other topics including Bart Barber’s amazing defense of Ed Litton. Mega edition, two full hours! I head out on Road Trip #2, heading for G3, so programs for the next three weeks will be at odd times, so download the A&O App so you can know when we will be hitting the airwaves!

Then we looked at pure, unhidden, unapologetic propaganda from an ABC affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. Then we switched over to an analysis of 1 Peter 3:14-15 and the citation of Isaiah 8:12-13 therein, considering issues related to “inter-textuality” and the identification of Jesus as Yahweh incarnate.Pravda in Louisville; 1 Peter 3:15 and IsaiahThe first 35 minutes or so of today’s program focused on the Miss Universe results in the Netherlands, where a highly unattractive dude beat out some absolutely stunning women, all in the service to the dismantling of the West.
