I promised Tobias Riemenschneider I would hold off on responding to the tsunami of ignorance-based, infantile slander on social media until he could speak his own mind, which he has now done. So, here is my commentary, and I am glad to get this over with. Very few times in my ministry have I had to wade through this kind of stuff, but here we go. Anyway, only those with a real interest in why the internet is filled with childish memes mocking Tobias or me or Doug Wilson or Joe Boot will want to invest the time in this one, but, it is there for those who desire an honest summary of recent events. Oh, and as predicted, the responses I have already seen are definitely consistent with the 4th grade playground from which they are derived.

Final Road Trip DL
Audio Only! We had tech problems and just plain old “you are out in the sticks and the cell connection stinks” problems so we gave up on the video and just concentrated on the audio, which worked well. So, no intro music, etc., but you don’t need that. Covered a bit about church and state, about Dan Andrews, and anti-Christian tyrant of Victoria, Australia, and then got back to a little review of Peter Van Kleeck’s really odd attempts at damage control and spin on his blog. Hopefully back in the regular studios next week!

John 5, 17, and Starting with Scripture as Our Only Reliable Foundation
James White, April 20, 2022April 20, 2022, Church Fathers, Church History, Exegesis, Reformed Baptist Issues, Road Trip, Roman Catholicism, The Dividing Line, Thomism Snuck another program in up here in Moscow, looking in-depth at John 5 and John 17 in reference to the Scriptural testimony to the relationship of Father and Son. Commented along the way on “Classical Theism’s” obfuscation of Biblical truths and serious concerns about the development of this new “Baptist Scholasticism,” which, by its adherents, is a “recovery of classical theism.”

Zach Lambert’s Sermon, “Homophobia and Transphobia,” Response Part 1
As promised I began playing the entirety of Zach Lambert’s sermon, preached early last year, about “Homophobia and Transphobia.” He had linked to it as representative of his position, and in the opening of the sermon he says he spent more time preparing for that sermon than any other, so it seems fair to address it. It is a classic example of “cultural eisegesis,” and since it is the essence of modern “Christian” homosexual apologetics, everyone needs to learn to recognize it, and refute it. We will continue the study and response on Thursday, Lord willing! 1:55 today!
