Today Joe sits down with Krista McDunn, a licensed professional counselor, though many of you know her as our conference organizer. We had Krista come in to talk through a sentiment we have seen on social media more than once—that the doctrine of total depravity is harmful to one’s mental health. What does total depravity mean, and how is it sometimes misunderstood? Can this doctrine make a meaningful and positive contribution to mental health? And how does psychology interact with the truths of scripture? We get into all of that, and more.
