Founders Follow-Up
Founders Ministries recently released a trailer for their forthcoming “cinedoc” that seems to focus on the dangerous presence of liberalism in its various forms present in the church today. Many took issue with the trailer’s tone and some of its content. We discuss that here. In light of the public outcry concerning the trailer many waited for an apology to be issued by Founders Ministries. On July 29th Pastor Tom Ascol, President of Founders Ministries, released a statement detailing the release and the push back of the trailer. There was no apology made in the article, but rather an explanation of their actions and perspective on the matter. Joe and Jimmy sat down to record a bonus episode talking about Founders’ statement, where they agree, and what they take issue with.
