Peter mentions an inexpressible or unspeakable joy that will be experienced by believers everywhere, even in the midst of fiery trials. These fiery trials are meant for the good of God’s people and are to be rejoiced in by His people.
Christians should be challenged to see their difficulties in a different light after hearing what Peter has to say about being put to the fire.
