I go to a church where people can serve themselves communion. I’m new to this church and I have never been to a church that does this. I did talk to one of the pastors about it and he assured me that it was Biblical, because what mattered was that people were being led by the Spirit to take communion. This still bothers me. Can you tell me what you think about this and provide Biblical support for your view? 2. I was just wondering about prayer. The other day I asked a number of my friends to pray for another friend who is going to have surgery. I realized after I did that that one of my friends is not a Christian, and she actually doesn’t even pray. So, when she replied she just said, “I’ll just hold her close to my heart.” Now I’m wondering, did I goof when I asked her that, or does God honor good thoughts too? 3. What’s the difference between excusing sin and showing grace? 4. Why does God tell Jeremiah that he will not listen when his people call for him? 5. I’m wondering how I should understand Genesis 1-3. I heard that some people think that it is just a myth, and that Adam and Even didn’t really exist but instead the fall was just a symbol of how we all sometimes fail to do good when presented with the choice of evil. I would like to hear your thoughts on this and how we should think of Genesis as Christians. 2. I have been reading a lot of Navy seal books and those guys are really driven. It makes me want to do some great accomplishment which isn’t sinful necessarily. There is a line, I guess. I feel like God is kind of a kill joy and makes me not want to—and his will is that I can’t work at the things I want to do because those are worldly things and selfish and not necessarily glorifying to him, in my head, meaning as I pursue them. 3. The book of John talks about Jesus saying, “ask and it will be given you”. If that’s true, then why do I have so many unanswered prayers? 4. When someone claims to have become a Christian, how do we know that they are genuine in their conversion? 5. What should I do if I’m experiencing a demonic attack?

And I have a question about people in the church begging about a thousand-dollar seed. I have never seen Jesus beg for a thousand-dollar seed or any amount. 4. I have heard a bunch of pastors say that a major moment in Jesus establishing his kingdom was Jesus’ ultimate victory in defeating Satan at the cross through his death and resurrection. Why does it feel like Satan’s influence still has such a presence in the world today? 5.
