36 Republicans Vote with All Democrats to Join Senate in Telling God We Hate Him and His Ways
In light of the US House of Representatives voting to ask God to make us like Sodom and Gomorrah, like Chorazin and Bethsaida, we talked today for an hour about God bringing judgment upon nations outside of Israel (looking at Amos 1:13) and how the culture of death is the common denominator of all the insane, self-destructive things now being promoted as moral goods in our day. The culture of death versus the culture of life, brought to us by the Lord of life, Jesus the resurrected one.
I’m in Lindale, Texas with the well known Troublemaker of the same area, Tom Buck, so we talked about…lots of stuff, from SBC stuff, G3, the future, you name it. Hopefully our discussions will be edifying to those facing many of the same challenges we are.

Started off with a little ministry report from the G3 Conference and my time in Pennsylvania. Then we talked a little bit about the Master’s Seminary controversy, then about the debate from Saturday afternoon, and finished up with a response to Costi Hinn aboutDoug Wilson and Michael Brown. An hour and twenty minutes.
I very much appreciated the conversation between George Farmer and Allie Beth Stuckey on the issues between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism. I listened to the conversation and wish to offer some thoughts from someone who has spent decades on this topic.
