Talked a bit about current events amongst the Southern Baptists, including the vicious attacks from “deconstructed” Baptists (i.e., apostates). We discussed another confusing tweet from Tim Keller, and then I took the time to back up and re-do the discussion on John 6 from the last program. Much clearer, organized, and understandable this time! No technical juggling this time around!

Basically, we documented that Rome dogmatically tells her apologists what to find in history and, shockingly, that’s exactly what they find! Amazing! Then I went into some quotes from Matthew Levering’s Engaging the Doctrine of Revelation in reference to the actual perspectives and viewpoints to be found in the Roman Catholic authors being promoted by the staff at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in their book recommendations. We covered a number of amazing statements from social media on the same topic as well.

We discussed head coverings and Michael Heiser’s odd views on 1 Cor. 11; Hebrews 1:10 and its citation of Psalm 102; angels and demons today; how to translate the Greek term θέλω (thelo); and finally a discussion of justification, confession, and the Lord’s Supper.
