Road Trip: “Reliability of New Testament Scriptures”, Christ Presbyterian Church, Mobile, Alabama, 10/27/24

I did not feel well today, but I pressed on, because I really wanted to share this study of Jude 5, CBGM, the variant in the text, and the biblical tapestry of phraseology and teaching that consistently testifies to the deity of Christ. Please get a deep seat, take some notes, and enjoy!

Dr. Downer Does Reformation Day, and Lots More

Then we talked about the recent Synod in Rome and the truly massive implications this has for Roman claims of authority, etc. Then we addressed this article from Jared Longshore, posted on Reformation Day, of all days, diving into Hebrews 7 and 8 especially, dealing with this key text in the debate over Calvin’s doctrine of paedobaptism. I thought we would only go 90 minutes, but we actually went past two hours by a bit!

Road Trip: Debate, Does John 6:44 Teach Unconditional Election? Leighton Flowers, First Lutheran Church, Houston, Texas, 3/7/24

For the rest of the debate Michuta makes no attempt to deal with Dr. White’s countering evidence, and simply gives responses grounded in accusations of misunderstanding and deliberate mischaracterization.
