Talked about more than that, but it was a major portion of my thinking as I started off with Jordan Peterson’s announcement that the tyrants in charge of “psychology” in Canada want to send him off to a “training camp” to punish him for wrong-think. It is all theology: the culture of death vs. the culture of life. Climate, all of it—darkness seeking to suppress the light. Think about it!

Thanksgiving Thoughts, the PWC
James White, November 21, 2024November 21, 2024, Christian Worldview, Misc, Pastoral Theology, Personal, Post-Evangelicalism, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters Did my usual Thanksgiving thing and pointed out that it should, in fact, be “usual” for Christians to give thanks and to live in a state of thanksgiving. Then we looked at the new “thing” to be all excited about, “The PWC,” the post-war consensus. What is it, how do you define it, and how did it become the central issue in just a matter of a few months? Not sure when the next DL will be as I will be pulling out over the weekend, have long driving days, and next Thursday is Thanksgiving (official). Keep an eye on the A&O app for announcements!

Post Election Thoughts (Rebels Hate God), Van Til and the Use of Evidence (Matt Walsh)
Two distinct portions to the program today, the first thoughts after the mid-term elections in the United States (we are a broken and rebellious nation), the second about the use of evidence and presuppositional apologetics somewhat connected to Matt Walsh’s appearance with Joe Rogan. I made mention of an online seminar coming up this weekend put on by Eli Ayala featuring folks like Jason Lisle, and you can find information about that here.

Audio Only Road Trip DL: Election Thoughts, Brief Rejoinder to R. Scott Clark
I’m at my last stop before getting home tomorrow on this trip, and it was a really long drive today, so I just didn’t have the energy to set up all the stuff for the regular video DL, so I recorded an audio only, 45 minute version with thoughts on the election, what we need to be doing for the next four years, and thoughts on the advance of the culture of death represented in this election cycle as well. I then finished up with a brief rejoinder to R. Scott Clark, once again, on the moniker “Reformed.”
