Using Twitch.tv again for the Livestream
I have to address the state of the nation today…sorry. It’s not a good report. Then I will be using the board to dig into John 10:30. Important stuff over the weekend on that text. Very illustrative.

Had some fun with a new video from Gene Kim, played a new RFG intro, looked a little at Steven Anderson and the TRTrads, delving into issues of textual criticism, the transmission of the text, etc. Then for the last 20 minutes or so transitioned into an important discussion about the supernatural and the life of the Bible-believing, sola scriptura
After a quick update on our travel issues/situation, we started to comment on the “Christ is King” controversy, digging down a bit into the theology and context of the statement and what it means. We also looked at some folks claiming “replacement theology” (it’s fulfillment theology, but they don’t want to view it fairly) is actually heretical. Then we played a few clips from the Provisionist Playground and provided correction. Again, if you would like to help get me to Louisiana for the upcoming debates, and help with the Road Trip DL set up in the new unit, the travel fund pull down menu can be found by clicking here. Thank you!

This morning Dr. Frank Turek of CrossExamined.org posted a short video clip from one of his many public speaking engagements. You have to give Frank credit, he goes out there and takes the questions. That is appreciated. But the inconsistencies in the answers are why we have often had to comment on what is being said. In this video he responds to an audience question (which itself contained errors of fact and thought) by stating what we might call the “standard” synergistic objections to Reformed theology. So we provided a rebuttal, along with a reiteration of the fact that we would be happy to “cross examine” Frank, and be cross examined by him, in formal, public debate. Many people who saw a tweet I posted suggesting such a debate said they would really like to see that happen. I am doubtful, but, you never know!
