Our main discussion today was based upon Pope Francis’ kind letter to Fr. Martin and the LGBTQ folks meeting tomorrow at Fordham University. What does this letter mean, and where is Rome really going today? The alleged “certainty” that flows from the claim of Papal authority is a two-edged sword that really ends up showing us that Rome’s “constancy” is a myth. It cannot be maintained. Spent a good bit of time talking about his death penalty stance as well as an illustration. Just over an hour. [Please note: I got so involved with the capital punishment discussion I completely forgot that we needed to get to Leighton Flowers and Colossians 2:12. Next time!]

Thoughts On Faithfulness in an Uncertain Future
James White, January 20, 2022January 20, 2022, Christian Worldview, Godly Disciplines, Musings, Personal, Road Trip, Technology, The Dividing Line, Theology Matters We did the program from the Mobile Command Center today as a means of testing things out before I hit the road this weekend. I also wanted to test a touch screen we have obtained that should allow me to do mot of what I do on the Flip Board in the Big Studio, but while traveling. And it worked! But then I started preaching to myself, really, and wandered through an entire discussion about faithfulness in these trying and confusing days. About 60% through the program I started talking to the homeschool kids, really all our kids, but especially those kids, about how blessed they, and how they need to understand the blessings they are receiving. If you have such kids, you might want to find that part. Sometimes having someone else’s voice helps to get the message through! Our next program will be coming from on the road, either from somewhere in Texas, or around Oklahoma City, Lord willing! Prayers for traveling safety appreciated!

Road Trip Radio Free Geneva–36 Hours After Surgery!
How much do I love doing the Dividing Line, and love our audience? Well, 36 hours after surgery I managed to pull off our first ever full Radio Free Geneva, including our (relatively) new video opening and closing! How’s that for dedication! Gave a quick report on yet another exciting visit to the hospital while on the road, even getting to have surgery (oh the joy!), and then reviewed and responded to this video from YouTube, and then, after a short break, went back to the Breda/Garza video I commented on Monday (just hours before an ambulance ride!). I invited Dr. Garza to come on the Dividing Line to discuss Hebrews 7 based upon the original languages. I hope he will do so!
